Lovely stay with a lovely family on Amantani. The room had a comfy bed, heating and a hot shower which was amazing for Amantani. The family were lovely and provided delicious meals. The location was great for us, close to the Plaza de Armas and a short but hard walk to the top of the island.

Pilar, the wife, is an incredible cook—every meal she prepared was delicious, fresh, and made with so much love. Sharing meals with the family and enjoying their traditional dishes was one of the highlights of our stay. The family’s kindness and hospitality were unmatched. They shared stories about their life on the island and taught us about their customs, making our visit both enriching and heartwarming. Despite the simplicity of life on Amantani, their warmth and generosity made us feel like we had everything we needed. Our time at Titicaca Chaska Wasi Amantani was amazing. The hosts are super friendly and Oswaldo, one of the hosts, even picked us up at the port when we arrived. The house is pretty with a great view on the lake and the bedroom and bathrooms were very clean. The food that Beatriz cooked was super delicious and rich. All in all, we loved our stay with Oswaldo and Beatriz and would definitely recommend the accommodation.

Vidal and Sonia were great hosts! The house and the room were really nice and clean, and Sonia cooked some nice meals for us. Vidal helped us organise the transport to and from the island, including the tour of the Uros and Taquile islands, and he accompanied us from and to the port.
