The hotel is located 3 minutes away from the plaza mayor, where you can find the main cathedral, as well as very good cafes and restaurants. The staff is super efficient and friendly and breakfast is quite good too. I booked a tour thru them to visit the islands and did an overnight stay with a local family. The tour was great and I found out I paid less than many other participants (including locals). It was great value for money! You always have mate available and overall the hotel is really good!

Clean spacious room. First good hot shower we had in 2 weeks travelling peru. Location is just an actual minute from main plaza, but even during the festival, it was fairly quiet in the room. Has AC although it's a bit fussy to handle.

Staying at Casitas was one of the most memorable travel experiences we’ve ever had, and we’ve travelled a lot. It was so special to be staying right on a floating island and to learn about the ways of the Uros people. Our host Eder was warm and gracious and happy to answer all of our questions. The food was plentiful and fresh, lovingly made by Mama and served by Dad. The room had a cozy king size bed and comfy chairs to enjoy the view. We loved sitting out on the Balinese style bed outdoors during the day. Eder took us out fishing and on a long tour of the Uros islands, teaching us about their ways. Two nights there on the island was perfect.
