As you would expect it’s all about location. Beautiful views in every direction. Inside the cabin was well laid out and bed very comfortable and loved the little deck to sit outside. The restaurant further up the hill (5 min walk) was good decent menu friendly staff

Stayed for the night and it was off road. It was good for just the night but the cabin I stayed in had a mold smell.
The stay was ok and the owner/receptionist was expectational. She stayed many hours late at night waiting for us to arrive. Overall, apart from the smell, it was a good experience.

I loved everything about this place except for he uncomfortable beds. Buy new beds! The bed sank in from so many people sleeping on it. The bed was so wore out, it made the whole experience terrible. I slept outside every night because the bed was so bad. I loved everything else but the beds

Quiet, secluded, and secure. The location was pretty close to the main strip, and the bus picks up and drops off right outside.

My wife and I have planned to visit Valle de Anton for years. Finally, had the time to follow our dream. We found that Valle de Anton is a beautiful and serene place among volcanic hills. There were nice restaurants and fondas to find good and tasty meals and at a low cost. Also, the hostess and her son at the Villa Luna were extremely charming and helpful. We would recommend Valle de Anton and Villa Luna to anyone who dreams of visiting beautiful and relaxing places.

It´s a place full of colors and with a very nice weather. There are several places to visit very different one from the others. Also a beautiful Catholic church, a Butterfly paradise, and a way to climb the mountain (India dormida). Some restaurants with a variety of deliciuous regional dishes.

It's a pleasant little mountain town that I think attracts locals escaping the heat. If you are hiking - I bet it's great. but if you are just bumming around, in two days you've seen everything twice. The zoo is a little depressing. There are some great places to eat. And if you are into geology, find an overlook and ponder how much ash got blown out to create a caldera this large. You can see the feet of the volcano surrounding the valle, and then ponder the fact that the actual peak collapsed below your feet.

Beautiful place full of residents who LOVE nature & gardening, plants & flowers. Relaxing & with a cool climate unlike the rest of Panama (aside from boquete which is the other end of the country).

A great place for a weekend getaway, with lots of outdoor activities at a nice leisurely pace. We didn't have a vehicle so we chose to stay on the main street, and everything was in a decent walking distance or you could use a bicycle which were widely available. I would happily return to do some of the other activities we didn't get to this time around.

This is a great town for relaxation & to capture true Panamanian hospitality. Visiting the Victoriano Lorenzo museum is a must if you want to learn some of the region history. It’s a humble but very informative spot with an excellent bilingual host/guide. Several good spots to eat & it’s easy to get around the town.
