Recommended to stay in a hotel, not Airbnb. It's way cheaper. Look for just one trusted taxi driver to drive you around, and do not trust everybody. You can get assaulted very easy in Panama.
The place is nice, some people are nice, their food is awesome, very nice Malls and the traffic is organized sometimes. They drive very responsible in Panama.

a city that never disappoints: Walkable, aesthetically beautiful notwithstanding the many modern buildings; so many aspects to this city: Culturally, environmentally, gastronomically: you need 4 days to really get the most out of it. And service attitudes are a little better than in the rest of the country (Panamanians have deplorable service - the South Am. immigrants actually are a breath of fresh air).

Staff was pleasant and all tried despite our overwhelming lack in the native language.
It was aalso so much more easier and affordable to travel to and fro hotel to store vs my visit to several US cities.
The taxi drivers are friendly and can be negotiated with despite the lanaguage barrier ....
We walked several evenings at varying hours post sunset...
The prices.....OMG....That is another story....Never ever seen anything like this in over 30 years of travel....Amazing....

We enjoyed our visit to The Panama Canal.
We enjoyed our visit to The Panama Canal. It was an exhilarating experience. The shopping and food were excellent. The skylines were a sight to behold. We were also able to capture all of our memories on camera.
If you want to experience the true "urban" feel of Panama City, you will enjoy your stay. The area is sketchy during the day and a no go zone at night. But the hotel is safe and secure with friendly staff, clean rooms, and an excellent restaurant on the top floor. The top floor contains a beautify outdoor space with bar , dance area, lots of tables and a place to meet by the hour "friends". I only did lunch and the food is good and plentiful. Over all I would return for the rates, food and excellent staff.
Amazing hostel. Very modern, felt like more of a home. The guy had music playing, was very easy going, and the pool with trees and grass and chairs made it feel like more of a backyard than a hotel swimming pool. This is a hidden gem in panama city. For the price I payed, and the neighbourhood you're in, wow! To feel like I'm in a home instead of a hostel with a pool, I'd highly recommend this place.
We've stayed here before and have never been disappointed. There is friendly 24 hr reception, the rooms are simple but clean, breakfast from the menu is excellent. If you have time, enjoy the roof top pool, which also affords clear views of the surroundings. The hotel is only a few blocks from shopping and a metro station making exploring Panama City easy.

Room is clean and ample. Location is ideal for both business or leisure travel as it is located central to the business district and the historical area of Via Argentina with its tree-lined streets, parks, cafes, and restaurants. This hotel is located in a modern urban area where many young professionals living in Panama City reside.
I stayed at this hotel a number of years ago when it was new but it is now beginning to show its age a little. However, it’s comfortable rooms, good value restaurant & central location still make it a good place to stay in Panama City
