A pleasant stay in the middle of lush greenery with a view of the Caribbean Sea, a true little paradise.
Warm and very helpful welcome. Many tips on activities to do in the surroundings and even recommendations for places/restaurants in Panama City. My last words will be for the catering, delicious and colorful, a real pleasure.
Thank you :)

Justina and the staff were so warm and welcoming from the start. You genuinely feel like they want you there, creating a little community in the house, bringing people together, and helping everyone with whatever they need. It was cheery and funky, clean, tidy and safe, and the A/C worked well which we kind of needed. And it was the first place we were offered a clothesline! So helpful in rainy season when things are wet. (Laundry service too). Finally, when I left something behind by accident, Justina was an amazing help. Loved it - highly recommend.
Boasting a garden, Kasakai Beachouse is situated in Juan Gallego in the Colon region, 2.6 km from La Punta Beach. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay.
It should be called Isla Grande de Basura. It's off-putting to have breakfast on the wharf and watch the trash float by. The "beach" & sidewalk that goes the length of the island is lined with trash: cans, bottles, styrofoam, paper wrappers, candy wrappers, etc. Making the slightest request of the Cocotal staff was met with a glance of contempt. The room had only one chair, no table, the shower was nothing more than a dribble; and there was no hot water.
Everyone on the island seems to be hard of hearing as the ghetto blasters were at full volume.
The parking over on the mainland is run by extortionists. We agreed to pay for two nights parking, when we went to pick up our van they insisted that we pay for a third night and they locked us in the parking area until we called the police!

Many of the restaurants and hotels on the island was closed...
Many of the restaurants and hotels on the island was closed when we were there (around christmas). Also it was very much trash on the street and everywhere around the hotel. We went there with the intention to surf a bit but there was no board rentals and the break did not look good at all. The beach was very nice but a lot of trash as soon as you left the hotel areas. One night or a day trip would have been enough. The restaurant La Isla was amazing, fast service, great food, nice location.
