I really liked the room, which was very stylish and comfortable. We took the option with private external bathroom and it is like a small studio so you actually have privacy. It also has nice terrace with places to sit.

Very helpful and friendly staff at a good enough hotel. They organized breakfast for me, although they don't offer meal options and put me in copy with a great couple of guides to do two hikes/tours with them around Nizwa.

الشقق الفندقية جدا نظيفة والغرف ودورات المياه واسعة
Nizwa was so historic and beautiful. To enter the fort through the ticket price was 5 riyals which is 13 usd. I didn’t think it would cost that much. But Oman in general is not cheap. It isn’t expensive either. The souq was really cool and my favorite part was that the merchants didn’t yell at you to come into their stores. They were super chill. I have been to a lot of souqs and the merchants are always trying to get you to buy things and they are always yelling and stuff but the merchants here weren’t doing that which was super cool and made browsing through the souk more enjoyable.

Nizwa is a cute little city!
Nizwa is a cute little city! We only explored the area near the Fort where we stayed. I would recommend a visit here. The Fort is beautiful and there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, as well as the Souq from the area around the Fort.
We were visiting during the National Holiday in November, so it was interesting to experience the culture and their celebrations!

Very nice town, I loved these narrow streets, a lot of nice cafes and restaurants with rooftops. Good museums and markets.
We liked museum Oman across the ages, it is located outside the town, but it is worth to visit it.
We hadn’t time but next time I would love to visit a lot of beautiful places around the city (nature).

A beautiful historic town where history and modern times are combined. From Nizwa it is possible to take many day trips by car and spend plenty of time in the area (Hajar mountains, Bahla, Jabreen etc.).
Very exotic is the cattle market with auction, which takes place every Friday from 6.00-9.00 a.m.

Alaqur View Inn is a most welcoming family hotel, placed in a beautifully restored traditional house. The owners and staff are very welcoming and always ready to help with anything the visitors need. Our room was big, elegant and spotlessly clean. Nizwa in general is a fantastic city with an unforgettable atmosphere, which exceeded our expectations. It became a highlight on our Omani itinerary.
very good food.
Nice rooms with a lot of charm.
We were lucky to get a bathroom connected with the room, and from what I saw in the old Nizwa for this hotel it is not so easy as it is a listed area of Nizwa, following very strict architecture guidelines from the Oman government.
A colourful hotel styled as a traditional Omani house. Very convenient location - next to Nizwa Fort. The hotel is very easy to find when traveling around the city and the surrounding area.
