An enchanting Arabic jewel, Muscat was already an important port in the 1st century. With a strict building code that imposes respect to heights and styles, the city has developed a harmonized and traditional look that makes it irresistible. Don’t miss the traditional Muttrah Souq marketplace, considered one of the best in the region.
The city is actually composed of three towns: Muscat is the walled Old Town where royal palaces are located; Muttrah includes the old and new harbours and the Corniche seafront; and Ruwi is the commercial and diplomatic area. Check out the Muscat hotels map on Booking.com and choose your preferred location!
The city is surrounded by the Western Al Hajar Mountains, and the crystalline waters and sandy beaches of the Arabian Sea. Staying in a Muscat hotel on the beach is a great way to enjoy the beautiful Gulf of Oman views.
The modern and elegant Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is one of the largest in the world. Don’t miss the twin forts of Al Jalali and Al Mirani, and the Qasr Al Alam Royal Palace.

Muscat is a great city if you want to travel to the Arab countries. You have to take into account that the distances are long, the highways are good, but public transport does not seem to be convenient and easily usable for tourists. If you want to explore the city and to travel around the country, the best way is by renting a car. Suggesting to travel to mountains and to villages, to eat local food in local restaurant.

There are few options for food, a low average beside one restaurant and 5starts hotels. Souk sells cheap and not local products besides frankincense; everything is counterfeit from India and Bangladesh. The things to visit do not require much time; culturally, there is not much. Options of things to do by night are few, besides the royal opera and the bar of your hotel.

The most amazing part apart this hotel is the selection of stuf; the chef Abdulhamid is the 👌 best , dinner was just amazing,he came to our table check if everything was fine, including Rose who is professional and consistent.Special thanks.to amjid a nice Omani guy with an amazing photography talent. My stay was just amazing and everything was perfect. I will surely come back there because you guys make me love Oman 🇴🇲 more.
Excellent hotel, in opulent Arabic style, everything very spacious and comfortable. Very attentive staff, large rooms and absolutely outstanding restaurants, probably among the best in all of Oman. Lebanese buffet was fantastic, as is the Indonesian restaurant by the pool. There is direct access to the beach, which is practically empty. The hotel is surrounded by embassies so its in a very safe area.
The reception and dinning staff was extremely exceptional. Hotel is located in a nice area, near airport and other touristic monuments. Rooms were cleaned every day, and the bedroom provided everything that we needed. Also the hotel has a pool and gym which is great addition! I would recommend to book this hotel since the price compared to the service is more than great.
A great 5 star hotel right next to the grand mall, walk through into various restaurants and cafes. Very large rooms and enormous bathroom. pasha cafe part of hotel on level 0 has exceptional service, food and coffee in a very casual setting. Would definitely choose to come back and stay when next in Oman.
