Very friendly welcome. The rooms are large and offer a great view on old the old village. The short walk to the city center through the farm is not to be missed. We liked that we could park our cars right in front of the property and enjoyed the balcony and (joint) kitchen supplies.

The food was delicious, the service meticulous and friendly, the surrounding is incredible, and the staff is very helpful. We got stuck due to a typical Omani rainstorm and they accommodated us for another night for much cheaper.

Very pleasant stay. Beautiful view of the Village from the top, and close to Snake Canyon.
They organised for us dinner and breakfast. The dinner was very good, but breakfast could offer some more foods rather than only bread and boiled eggs.

The room feels like a 5 star hotel vibes. New furnitures with complete toiletries. With beautiful shared lounge, shared kitchen and kids play area. Very advisable to stay here if travelling near or in Al Hamra area.

This is a great place if you are a hiker and loves walking. The trails had lots of steps and some were very steep others absolutely flat. I felt that if you have good endurance then the walk would be very enjoyable. But, beware, if your lungs are not strong enough you will be soon out of breath. Lots of adventurous things to do, cycling, rock climbing etc., but, planning ahead would be helpful.
It is very easy to move around Misfah, however not many restaurants around until you reach the city limits.
It was slightly hot, as we went in May, but winter times it would be great place for trekking, walking and other outdoor activities.

Very beautifull hotel and room.
Very beautifull hotel and room. We only stayed one night, but wished we booked for 2 nights. We did a beautiful hike starting close to the hotel. So you could definitly stay 2 nights if you like hiking!
Parking is free around the hotels. We put our luggage in a small bag, so we did not have to take it up the stairs (no elevator).
We ate at the hotel. No restaurants nearby. But the hotel offers a great view from the eating area!

However, the hotel has many problems, including the broken swimming pool with walls covered in mould, missing basic furniture in the rooms, dirty bathroom, plumbing problems, poor breakfast.
In summary, quite expensive accommodation for the facilities offered.

Misfah is a old town built on the side of the mountain.
Misfah is a old town built on the side of the mountain. The gardens and falaj systems are very well maintained and you can see villagers are proud of their town. We had a walk in town then a walk in the gardens. We stayed overnight to walk in the mountain in the cool of the morning.

What a wonderful little place in the mountains of Oman.
What a wonderful little place in the mountains of Oman. Perfect to stay for the night or even longer, especially in the evening the day visitors are leaving and you can enjoy much of the place yourself. It is hard (if not impossible) to get there with public transportation, so you have to have your own. Interesting things to see and experience nearby as well. Take a long walk in the valley,...its wonderful.

Misfah is a mall village close to Nizwa and is an ideal location for a night stay in the mountains with all tourist attractions like Bahla Fort, Al Hoota caves, Jebel Shams and the ancient village of Misfah Al Abriyyin close by. The place is quiet and tranquil and ideal getaway for a long weekend.
