The road are great, it is easy to drive, Oman is strict on using 4x4 cars to go into the mountains, although the roads and the conditions don’t need it. Compared to the Alps, this is mostly less steep and the safety features make it practically impossible to have a serious accident.
We visited 3 hotels, Indigo Hotel, Alila and Damask and they are all amazing. Indigo and Alila have the best views, but the price is accordingly.

Great location!
Great location! The hotel staff are very helpful and took great care in helping us with the sightseeing and must see places nearby. Vinay and his team at reception made sure that we enjoyed our stay at Green View Hotel. A sure recommend!

Hotel is located at end of top hill section. To reach here need to have 4X4 car. Food at restaurant is good. Spa at hotel is also good, staff is well behaved. Small hotel with good location and perfect gateway from summer.
