Its is a new resort, opened just few months ago. Location is excellent; private beach away from the town, good play facilities for kids, nice swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and most rooms are sea-facing with a balcony. Restaurant serves tasty lunch and dinner, with a mix of italian, Arabic and a couple of Indian dishes.
Located in Al Ashkharah, Al-Ashkhara Beach Resort منتجع شاطئ الأشخرة offers simply furnished accommodations with views of the Indian Ocean. Turtle watching areas are 90 km away.
The location is excellent. The accommodation had two sections, with the first being a spacious sitting room that comfortably accommodated our entire group of three families for late evening chats. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were extremely helpful. A special mention goes to Mr. Sunil, who pleasantly surprised us by cleaning our cars. He also kindly took the time to explain nearby attractions such as the pink lake and local fishing spots.
The pool could have been heated, and its size was quite small, with a depth of only 1.2 meters. The à la carte dinner took some time to be prepared, making a buffet a more ideal option for quicker service.

The hotel offers a sort of small apartments; we had plenty of space (no kitchen). The rooms were quite clean. Good A/C system. The staff was very friendly. We had breakfast and a dinner: food was very good. Position is outside the town, but it's not far by car and it can be used as a stop along the coast road.
Staff is very friendly. We even got a free upgrade. It is not just a room you have but a whole apartment. The hotel is close to the beach and has a swimmingpool. Dinner and breakfast were very tasteful. We can recommend this place for 1 night or more.
This is a nice beachfront hotel, about 15 km south of Al Ashkharah, the nearby town. Thanks to the location, it is a tranquil establishment, good for family stays. Restaurant is good, pools are clean and well maintained.
