This was the perfect holiday destination for us for our week long stay. It was very peaceful, private, spotlessly clean, comfortable, thoughtfully and generously equipped and had wonderful bird life in the garden (kotare, kereru, ruru etc), along with Benny the very friendly pet dog. We enjoyed exploring thjs area. It is a short drive from Bushy Park bird sanctuary.

The location is on farm land in a quite remote area but the drive in was great with lots of feral goats and deer. Sometimes hunters use the house (which was not our purpose) as the owner runs hunting trips which I imagine are really good. The land owner is very friendly. The house is comfortable and easily warmed by a very efficient log burner. It's not four star it is what it is, clean and comfortable, close to Bushy Park and its a great quiet retreat for those needing that experience.
