The hosts provided a nice, continental breakfast with fresh fruit and bread for toast. The unit is quite spacious, particularly the bathroom. Lovely place to stay in Waihi. It had everything we needed for our group. The pool and spa facilities were amazing. Would book again.
What a beautiful beach, stunning is the word. Lots of activity on the sand and in the water. Plenty of surfers and swimmers enjoying themselves. We enjoyed our T/aways at the beach in the evening light. This is a very tidy and well cared for area, easy to get around with lots to see, a lovely piece of Kiwiana.

We loved the beach and appreciated being within walking distance to it. There is a village with supermarket, butcher, chemist, bottle shop and gifts/clothes/homewares stores. Dinner at the Bowentown boat club was great, as was Flat White and the Talisman Restaurant in Katikati.

Unfortunately on a Tuesday many places closed for a dinner experience and forget the Waihi Beach RSA as unless you are a RSA member or can show other club membership you cannot have a drink there. Was informed later maybe a meal would have been available???

Accommodation was top shelf, clean and spacious. Easy hop skip and jump from beautiful sandy beach and a lovely beachside cafe. Quality furnishings, fittings, finishes and linen and super comfy beds. All the mod-cons and everything you need for a relaxed beachside holiday. Lots of close hiking trails for all levels of fitness. Friendly locals. Short drive to the village and clubs for more dining and shopping options. Wish we had more time here to enjoy all the property and location has to offer.

Waihi Beach is a great beach town, not commercialised and everything is a short walk to or a quick drive to other spots and towns. The Beach is beautiful white sand, great surf beach or just sitting on the sand enjoying the scenery.

The hosts have done a fantastic job, the property was so lovely and tidy. Excellent and quiet location; a quick walk through the beautiful sand dunes and you would be on the beach! Julie and Cam were so helpful and had great suggestions for local places to eat or activities to do. If you get the opportunity, I would highly recommend going along with Julie to a yoga class in the forest right next to Waihi Beach, such a peaceful experience to get you into holiday mode! Definitely will stay here again!
We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfully arranged and presented collection of homemade snacks waiting for us on our arrival.
The location in the older part of Waihi beach next to farmland made it feel restful and charming. The well layout gardens delighted the gardener in me too. We enjoyed the outdoor bath after a long hike and the privacy the property offered.
We loved Kotare Ridge. Beautifully located plus quiet but close to the main Waihi Beach. Lovely, comfy and very nice adequate breakfast. The suite was very clean and beautifully decorated. The only slight downside was very awkward parking but that cannot be helped due the hilly surrounds Hope to stay there again

Perfect apartment, with everything we needed and that bath is outstanding. Amazing for a winter get away. Waihi beach is also a very friendly town, nice restaurants too.
