We thought we were booking into an a beautiful Art Deco hotel which turned out to look like students accommodation. The room was less than basic , fitted with what appeared to be a whiteboard. Poor lock on the door.
The hotel bar closed at 7pm and access was gained using an entry code that was visible to all on the reception. We didn’t see anyone else at the premises. It felt very eerie and I was not comfortable staying there. The bedroom window had access to some sort of fire escape but did not have a lock. Whilst the location was central I would not recommend this ‘hotel’ to anyone . When I checked the availability I noted that there were no vacancies in the university term and it was all blocked off. From a business point of view that great but the accommodation is not of ‘hotel’ standard . Do not book .

The staff were lovely and friendly and down to earth and helpful. I like how it is decorated and the playground and the jokes on the walls near kitchen. Little extras like the ducks footprints.
It heated up very quickly with the heater.
