Great staff. It was quiet at the front desk so they took the time to explain about life in Wanaka and how it has changed. We really enjoyed our stay here.
The location is perfect if you don't have a car because of the many food options. We could sit on our balcony and enjoy the view and a glass of wine. We did have a car and spent an afternoon exploring more outside the city.
Edgewater is located in Wānaka, only 1.2 mi from Wānaka town center. The property offers picturesque lake views, rolling green lawns, spas, a sauna, and a tennis court.

We like to do tramps and walks. We only did Mt Iron - Estimated for a 90 minute loop. It actually took about 70. There are many more walks that we will one day do when we return.
We were there for a wedding, which Wanaka is gorgeous location for.
Go to the Lavender Farm and the Maze if you are short on time.

A very beautiful town by the lake where we had a relaxing time enjoying gelato. We took a walk along the lakeside to the Wanaka Tree. We also recommend Puzzling World; the maze was challenging even for adults.

Beautiful area with a relaxed vibe.
Beautiful area with a relaxed vibe. Good mix of outdoor activities available on the lake and mountains. Great shopping and cafe options in town, without the hysteria of Queenstown. I could happily spend a week just in Wanaka.
The Big Fig is a delicious and great value option for lunch. Lots of good coffee options. Federal Diner and it's adjacent deli/Cafe for coffee. Pembroke patisserie for genuine French pastries

The place is beautiful, especially Lake Wanaka.
The place is beautiful, especially Lake Wanaka. You can see the glaciers - Rob Roy Glaciers - even from the city centre (of course, they are far away). The weather is unpredictable here though. It can be rainy and cloudy in the morning and sunny by noon.

Fantastic apartment with wonderful views of Lake Wanaka. It has everything that you may need including a small kitchen. Noelene and Bob are wonderful hosts and couldn’t have been more helpful and the breakfast that they provided out most hotels to shame. We are considering moving into their apartment permanently it was so good. we will be back.

Wanaka luxury apartment is in the quiet end of Wanaka and a 5 minute stroll through the park to the famous Wanaka lake and Wanaka tree. We were there in spring and the entire road is covered in cherry blossom trees in full bloom.
I'm normally a hotel person but I loved Wanaka Top 10. The staff were amazing and the cabins were exceptional. Clean to a very high standard, comfortable and very relaxing. Great family facilities.
This is our favourite place to stay across NZ. Right on the lake front with a beautiful restaurant and bar and fabulous rooms. We always book into this hotel and usually we never want to leave.
