We liked our stay at Syrah Cabin, it was walking distance to several wineries, but you needed a car or taxi to get elsewhere. Room was good and instructions for checkin were easy to follow. Lovely view at sunset.

Great location. Good bed. Kitchen and bathroom Good.
Typical little touristy village. Can’t see much of the sea from the street but most of the bars and restaurants have great views. There are two small supermarkets. We were there on Auckland Anniversary weekend and it still didn’t seem particularly crowded.

There was a good variety of shops and cafes. The French cafe had great coffee and brunch. Everything was in walking distance including the lovely beach and some vineyards. The area was clean, tidy and well kept. Public bus service was great.

Really wonderful little place, awesome beach which was easily accessible. Regular bus service made exploring the island and getting to some of the vineyards very easy! We were there the first week of December and based on what it was like there on Saturday I can just imagine would be VERY busy, noisy and crowded over peak times. I had the best Bloody Mary ever at The Oyster Inn. Would love to go again, would aim to avoid peak times though

The property said it was in Oneroa, but was actually a few kms out of town. Bus was convenient though.
Fenice and the Waiheke Grocer we’re both fabulous. Got a bargain at the Recycle Boutique. Cyclone prevented beach time, but had a lovely massage come to us (Inner Spring). Even in bad weather Waiheke was fun and beautiful

Charming small main town on Waiheke Island. V good bus service and is served by 2 ferry likes to Auckland.
There are several excellent restaurants and many wonderful wineries on the island, which we recommend.
The locals are friendly and helpful. We have stayed in Oneroa several times and always look forward to returning. It is not a cheap destination.

Well located just a short walk to the Oneroa shops and restaurants....and a couple of wineries, guest laundry, great local info....couldn't ask for anything else!
Special thanks for the complimentary drinks and snacks 😊
Location is just perfect - easy walk to the beach and to the shop, fish & chips & snack bar on beach and a short walk into Oneroa. Property is so clean with everything you could need. The bed was one of most comfortable in our 6 week trip round New Zealand.
Proximity is outstanding, into Oneroa village with public transportation, shops and restaurants and galleries and a awesomely good gelato shop ☺️ 😊. Plus the view toward Hauraki Gulf is priceless and Oneroa Beach is a stone throw away.
Such a modern and cosy space to stay in. Really short walk to Mudbrick and Cable Bay wineries along with a short walk to Oneroa Village. Beautiful views. Really attentive staff. Just wish we had had longer there!
