Location central .. welcomed us with warm towel and a drink in what was a very cold day .. Staff are lovely.. cosy would fire and comfortable bar lounge area. The breakfast was yummy plenty to choose from.. We also ate dinner their.. Would return.

This Motel was so clean and tidy that we thought it was brand new. We did not realise it had been open since 2014 so maybe it had just been refurbished. There was nothing not to like with nice little touches like a Nespresso machine for our breakfast coffee and new pods replaced every day. We were only there for a week and we think the linen was replaced regularly as well. It would be one of the better places we have stayed at in the last decade or so. It was easy to find and we walked into the main centre for dinner each night regardless of the rain.
Backing onto peaceful greenery, 10 Cottages offers self-contained cottages with a balcony, just 2 minutes' walk from the center of Franz Josef Glacier and a 3-minute walk from the Glacier Hot Pools.
