The space and design of the apartment are so restful. The view is wonderful and the hosts so welcoming. We had the best sleep ever and a great hot shower. The apartment is less than 10 minutes drive to the Shorebirds Centre and there is a fantastic fish restaurant on the road beyond the centre, Kaiaua Fisheries.

We loved the serene country atmosphere overlooking a spectacular view & personal use of a spa pool to relax & unwind in after a long day of travel enjoying our evening stargaze.
We loved the pristine presentation & comfort of our studio. There were plenty of towels, a full fridge/freezer, washing machine & kitchen conveniences for our use. The shower had great hot water & pressure.

Miranda Sea View apartment is in a stunning and peaceful setting with fantastic view over the Firth of Thames. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. The bed is very comfortable with premium linen. Fantastic hosts as well. The fish and chips from the takeaway along the road were top class. Driving back to Auckland, the drive up the firth of Thames was also a highlight.
We had a wonderful time at Miranda Homestead. It is a charming and well-kept farmhouse beautifully located in green nature next to the sea. Elly is a great host. She gave us helpful tips for our journey through New Zealand and interesting insights about the country. The breakfast with fresh fruit salad, plums from the garden and Manuka honey was exceptional.
Beautiful view of sea from house
Enjoyed the hotel at Kaiua for food and drinks.
Watching movies on blue ray cds provided.
Enjoyed a nice bush walk in regional park not far from Kaiawa.
Very friendly and accommodating
Nice views and quiet with no mosquitos or flies to bother you.
