Great location at the bottom of Lake Pukaki with awesome view onto Mt. Cook. The property provides super service and is completely off-grid and self sustained. Food was awesome. We loved the star gazing - well educated, super comfy and we saw galaxies with our plain eye.

The unit allocated to us was situated at a corner at the end of the property, the parking was not well planned and the allocated parking lot was right in front of our door, on a slope with potted plants and concrete blocking the way, not an ideal parking lot for our SUV. Property was not exceptional, but met basic expectations.

My wife and I really cannot rave about this retreat enough. The villas are exceptionally appointed and spacious. The environment is picturesque, tranquil and peaceful. The food provided in the villas and the meals cooked by the chef are truly delicious and guests individual tastes are catered for. The staff are very welcoming and friendly whilst ensuring that privacy is a key component of the experience. The villas could not be cleaner or more tastefully presented. We doubt anyone could be disappointed in their stay at this retreat.
