Nice rooms with efficient use of space for the en-suite. Amazing 3 course breakfast made by Lyn was a great start to the day and noticed she even made some bikers their lunch for the next day too. Great location with just a short walk down to the pub.

The size of unit plus first place out of 14 weve stayed at that had an oven. Amazing that we could change our bike touring limited menu with an oven available. Good sized tv with comfy couch to lax back and watch from.

Steve and Michelle were lovely hosts, who looked after us very well. The setting was really nice, with a choice of comfortable places to sit, both indoors and out. Michelle cooked us a delicious dinner and nice breakfast. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Kurow is pleasant as a destination, but you need to drive to see various sites such as elephant rocks and the clay cliffs. There were a number of eateries at Kurow and a small well stocked supermarket.

We brought food from the local superette and cooked it back at the motel All very handy.
Yes its very easy to get around Kurow - comfortable stroll down both sides of the streets and pubs at both ends (for the drinkers) ;)
Wouldn't avoid anything in particular It was all fun!
This was a special trip for me back to my old home town at Otematata a few miles West. The Kurow motel was the ONLY place that we could stay with our dog. Much appreciated!

I'm a bit biased as I was born there many years ago (did'nt live there). The locals were great at the gift shop and the museum. The local boutique winer a few minutes out of town was also absolutely lovely and relaxing. Great wine and food.
