Mandy was a great host and provided us with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, French press coffee, and eggs for breakfasts. The pool and hot tub were great. Close to all the wineries. Use of guest kitchen facilities and large common room was included. Lovely homestay on beautiful property with congenial hosts.

The location is a beautiful, tranquil setting. Each separate cottage is quite private. We stayed in The Stables, which was a beautiful, peaceful setting, perfect for couples. The view of the sheep, chickens, deer, was very special. Treats for the animals were also provided! The cottage is tastefully decorated and all of the essentials are provided. The fresh breakfast food provided was wonderful: fresh eggs, delicious gluten free granola, fresh squeezed orange juice, butter, bread, croissants and I am sure I am forgetting things. The wood stove heated the cottage wonderfully. Out host provided excellent advice on dining, activities and even travel suggestions. Of all the places we stayed at on both the North and South Islands, this was by far our favourite.

This hotel was so charming and lovely, and the host Vicki was likewise. Our room was not only roomy, quiet, spotless and well appointed, there were fresh shortbread cookies made by the hostess herself! Amazing. Our day in the vineyards had been canceled and Vicki sat down with us to help plan out a new day, and made the calls for our transportation. She made sure everything we needed during our stay was at hand. and this hotel is an easy walk to so much.
