Beautiful. Not your typical accommodation. So much better. A little tucked away however we enjoyed this aspect as it gave us a tremendous amount of privacy. The vista from our stay was spectacular. Our Host were available and yet were quite appropriately mindful of their guests space. We will most certainly revisit Glencree if passing through beautiful Kaikōura again. Don’t expect a run of the mill experience, quite something else. All needs were thought of in advance. My Daughter and I felt very very safe, not much more to add, you need to experience Glencree for yourself.

Cute cottage in a lovely setting with fantastic views including at night, of the Milky Way. The shower is FANTASTIC for pressure.... bliss! and hot water comes through super quick! Although I didn't explore too far from the property I'm sure there will be many more places I can check out on return visits. I loved having an electric blanket as I feel the cold a lot, and the heaters in each of the rooms was greatly appreciated.

A beautiful setting with picturesque gardens and exceptionally well equipped and comfortable interiors. It was a wrench to prise ourselves away after 2 nights of tranquil bliss. I particularly enjoyed cooking, which is often difficult and stressful on holiday as so many utensils and ingredients are unavailable. Not at Leader Valley, the kitchen is possibly better equipped than my own!
