Our stay at the place was super good! There is a heated swimming pool, a chicken farm and we got to enjoy free-range egges:-) The host also provided milk and drinks, which was awesome! The place was very easy to find and it was quite close to the large supermarket in Richmond. It was actually not far from Nelson and great value for money.
The kids really loved the place! Everything was great, and it would be more convenient if the toilet is separate from the bathroom. For a big family, this might take a bit of coordination and patience in the early morning:-)

Hope is a small settlement with a dairy for limited supplies . It has an interesting history celebrated through the mural on the local Ranzau rd school and cemetery / church. Worth a visit. Otherwise horticultural area, close to Richmond for supplies and more. Close to Nelson and Mapua.
