Loved the quiet location and farm animals right at the edge of the deck. The facilities were modern and the beds so very comfortable. Being able to pick fruit and consume it yourself or give a few bits to the animals was a real treat.

A gorgeous spot in amongst the orchard. We brought our dog and was charmed by all the dog accessories left out for us to use. Roaming the orchard was brilliant fun loved by all.

Havelock Nth is an exceptional town with excellent shopping, a good supermarket with superb stock. Wine stores are well stocked with a curated range of wines. There is good boutique shopping, nice cafes and a movie theatre.
I'd recommend Birdwood gallery for a visit as well as Hutchesons in Hastings for nice furniture and homewares. Great walks along riverbanks, access to wineries and bike trails. In all, worth a visit.
Easy walking and if you are fit, take on Te Mata Peak!

We were there as part of the Holly Hospice Trail.
We were there as part of the Holly Hospice Trail. Fantastic homes and gardens. Enjoyed the township of Havelock North and the generosity of people making their homes available for a charitable event. From Te Mata Peak, great sights on a good day. Climate great, much warmer than more southern parts of NZ. Plenty of eateries, standard, variable. Car needed, maybe GPS.

The area had some great wineries and great food options.
The area had some great wineries and great food options. We also really enjoyed the honey tasting. The wineries are worth a visit. Unlike wineries in California and in most other wine regions, these wineries often have a full lunch option. The area has plenty of expensive options for food, but also has plenty of burger places or fish and chip options.

I really hate staying in the Napier , Hastings area.
I really hate staying in the Napier , Hastings area. Rowdy noisy cars racing around town, and the local council does nothing to address it.
Try to avoid staying there at all costs, just having too, sometimes.
Even going to the top of Te Mata Peak, you have people in cars smoking weed, and stereo up load at a beautiful location. Shame people do not realize what they have.

Central spot for family get together from Taupo, Auckland & Wellinton. The house was perfect, very clean, 3 bedrooms and 2 showers. Good outside area (suntrap) 👍 Ability to walk to central Havelock North shops and restaurants
The location was sublime and the view was magnificent. The place was comfortable, sunny and well equipped. The bath outside was an added bonus. It was a restful place to stay, a bit out of Havelock North.
It was a rural setting and quiet just out of Havelock North village. We had one night only due to time restraint and would like to have stayed longer.
Great for a family or two couples
Close to the lovely Havelock North Village.
Apartment was very well equipped, comfortable bed and sofas to relax on.
Spotlessly clean, good shower etc.
Everything perfect.
