We were able to have our dogs with us in the room..
Beds were comfortable 2 Queen size and 4 singles available.
All the cabins are private from each other.
We were towing a trailer and we were able to park it close to our room.
The area is very quiet and peaceful- away from the bustle of the main town.
Greenacres Alpine Chalets & Villas is set in quiet, green surroundings with panoramic views over Hanmer Valley. Hanmer village is a short walk away.

Worked well for our short stay. Good having two separate bedrooms. Kitchen was okay, could do with a few essential items like tongs, baking paper/foil (will help with keeping things a bit cleaner) and oven gloves.
Bathroom was very nice and clean.
Select Braemar Lodge & Spa is a luxurious lodge nestled in the foothills of the Southern Alps, close to the village of Hanmer Springs.

We had a wonderful stay at Braemar Lodge. Everything not only met our expectations but also exceeded, from the nice greeting at check in to the room and amenities being just perfect. Breakfast was also very nice and gave us some great sustenance for the next part of our journey. We would love to come and stay again with the Braemar team. Thank you

It was very well equipped, especially in the kitchens. The toilets and showers were clean and nice. There was soap in the dispensers, and loo paper in all the stalls. The bunks were fine, and my grandaughter enjoyed going on the top one, plus she really loved the onsite playground. We had a very lovely overnight stay there, and it is good value for money too.

A great little place to visit and plenty to do within walking distance in the main part of town. Unfortunately we only had time for an overnight stay and crammed a few things in while we visited.
Plenty of places to grab a bite to eat and lots to see and do.
Would definitely stay a little longer next time.

Hanmer Springs offers a variety of experiences.
Hanmer Springs offers a variety of experiences. We are trampers so it's a great base for day trips or prior to heading off on longer tramps.
Pools are a welcome relief for the old body to recover in afterwards.
Enjoyed the food from the Powerhouse Cafe.

All of the facilities are really good. Actually it exceeds our expectations. we haven't used the GYM and SPA . Had a lovely evening in the private jacuzzi. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and for your great hospitality. I would say it's next level staff service compared to other motels and hotels that I've been in New Zealand.
Perfect location, at the heart of Hanmer Springs, at walking distance from everything: pools, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, and hiking trails
The sunset view from the terrace
The nice garden with a swing for the kids
Very friendly staff
Good friendly, relaxed, family atmosphere. This is not a luxury site but it is comfortable and the owner makes an effort to ensure the kids experience a good old fashioned camping vibe.
Great value for money.
Beautiful historic building in the centre of Hanmer Springs. Gorgeous gardens around the Hotel. Walking distance to everything. Lovely friendly staff and comfy bed.
More space than some motels we’ve stayed at in this price bracket. Continental breakfast included in the price. Clean and comfortable. Short walk to the springs.
