This place is just a little slice of heaven. Waking up to having breakfast overlooking the sounds with freshly baked breakfast foods. It was luxury while still keeping its rusticness. We stayed in the Yurt and it was very spacious and the beds very comfortable. The outdoor shower was nice and warm and the hot tub was a real treat. We made the most of the pizzas and even took some away for lunch on the next leg of our hike the next day.
The hike down from the QCT is definitely an adventure but well documented on the website so wasn’t unexpected. Absolutely loved staying here.

Loved exploring the nooks and crannies of the garden and discovering artworks and wildlife. Also awesome bioluminescence at night and kayaking in the bay! We spent a great deal of time relaxing swaying in the hammocks (at least 15 or more in the gardens. The staff were so helpful - especially Ira who helped us with our parking (offering her spot!) Thank you Ira. Our room was cosy, had almost everything we needed and I can't remember sleeping so deeply. So quiet.

We did the Queen Charlotte s walk and staying in the lodge was such a treat for us. They offer pack lunch to rake away for the people doing the track which is really helpfull and there is an outdoor spa available.

No one told us that we should have caught the Ferry to Punga...
No one told us that we should have caught the Ferry to Punga Cove from Picton. We drove for hours only to find out that the road was closed for maintenance. Very annoying and we had to wait for hours to drive through a very short window of time to get through. Apparently Booking.com was told by the property, but the Booking.com did not tell us. Disappointing!

The hotel was fantastic located on the lovely Endeavour inlet. The view from the room amazing and the room itself very comfortable with a very good bathroom. We didn't have breakfast because were leaving early I so can't comment on that but the evening meal was good and food and drinks were no pricier than the mainland which was nice given that they do have a captive market somewhat. I would recommend.
The cabins are AMAZING! Better than many hotel rooms and apartments we stayed in. Brand new, sparkling clean and stylish!
The hosts are just awesome human beings and they go extra miles to make your stay unforgettable.
It was indeed an unforgettable short stay and the only thing we regret is not booking another day or two in advance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were so lovely and the restaurant had amazing food!
Room was modern & clean. The bed was so comfortable, especially after a long day of walking the Queen Charlotte Track.
