Not as expected 1. Arrived 2 minutes late due to rain, but the receptionist complained a lot. The man greeting us was elegant and unfriendly. 2. Room signs were unclear and hard to find. Lots of keys. 3. Garage was narrow and hard to park in. Ended up parking outside for two nights. 4. No shampoo, no bathtub. Balcony furniture and kitchen windowsill were dirty. 5. No elevator, carrying luggage upstairs was difficult.

staff were friendly, room was a decent size, large bathroom and cooking facilities met our needs. perfect location, walked into town to cafes, pubs and restaurants. an easy 15 minute walk to buffalo beach. Supermarkets were a short car ride away. lovely and clean accommodation, we would easily stay here again.

The place has amazing views and we found it very relaxing to come back after a long day of sightseeing. Amenities were very nice. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The pool, tennis courts and offering of kayaks and equipment was very kind of the host to offer. The grocery stores and restaurants were close, a short drive for us. The unit was very modern and clean and much larger than expected. Whitianga is a very beautiful relaxing town and this unit was in a great location.
