Elaine is a most gracious host! The unit was large and well-organized, with lovely outdoor space. I was very comfortable, and well-fed. It was lovely talking with Elaine too. I would definitely stay there again!

The local pub has huge meals and a lovely atmosphere. No takeaways in Clyde Great for fruit orchards and cafes. Quaint historic part of town is the best. A nice relaxed town with a lot to offer . The dam is a great place to loo up and down the valley

Clyde is one of the few mining towns that kept its historic center. It has a lovely old town center, and lots of history. Not a ton of restaurants, but good for a couple of days. Cycling is the way to visit the area!

Clyde is a quiet small township off the main highway. It has quite a few cafes, art galleries etc. bike hire etc. We were touring and so only stayed one night but enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Old Post Office with plenty of locals in too.

In Clyde, I was looking for a quiet-ish place with a bit of activity around, so I could do some work without distractions, but feel not too distant from other people. Clyde exceeded my expectations!
What I liked - there's such a variety of things around - a beautiful historic town centre with a few cafes and restaurants. Even a cinema. There's wine stuff nearby for those who are into that (I'm not into that personally). And there are a few walking tracks - I did part of the Cairnmuir Hill Track, which offered beautiful landscapes and stunning views of the surrounding areas.
I also really enjoyed looking at the nearby Hydro dam.

Easy to walk to dinner from here. Everything was clean and new. We appreciated the milk in the fridge and the chocolate slice was delicious. Wish we’d had more time to spend in Clyde and surrounding area. We will be back!
A beautiful older style renovated property set in a wonderful garden and a few minutes walk from the centre of Clyde. Breakfast was excellent and the host Ewan was terrific. Our room and ensuite was large and luxurious.
Absolutely fantastic, so lovely and friendly hosts. I could come and go when it suited and there was no issue what so ever. Just a wonderful experience. Clyde is also the most endearing little town, truly gorgeous.
