This is a small, very well equipped and well-priced campsite on the edge of Cheviot. Cheviot is a great location to explore the north Canterbury region, especially some of the coastline. The cabins are very well provided for with microwave, fridge, TV, tea and coffee facilities and a reserved parking space by each. The bathroom, kitchen and laundry facilities are all very close to the cabins and camper spots. All up a great stay.
Situated in Cheviot in the Canterbury region, Conway River View Cottage For 2 features a garden. The property has garden views.

Cute cottage in a lovely setting with fantastic views including at night, of the Milky Way. The shower is FANTASTIC for pressure.... bliss! and hot water comes through super quick! Although I didn't explore too far from the property I'm sure there will be many more places I can check out on return visits. I loved having an electric blanket as I feel the cold a lot, and the heaters in each of the rooms was greatly appreciated.
Friendly people. Big trees. Green valley. Clean township.
Friendly people. Big trees. Green valley. Clean township. Great little supermarket. Best meats at Harris's butchery. Wish I had had time to go to Gore Bay on coastline .. so close. Great options for accommodation. Good distance from Chch and Kaikoura. Peaceful.

I'm never disappointed with Cheviot.
I'm never disappointed with Cheviot. Discovered a great walk with the dog, which would also be amazing in spring with the daffodils in full bloom. The cafe I went to with friends was great, it was lovely to be able to have dogs in the outdoor courtyard, and the food was good.

Cheviot is a great place to stop to break up a long road trip. I would definitely recommend staying at the Cheviot Camp, Cabins and Motel. The Number 8 Coffee Shop is also wonderful. We were not impressed with the Cheviot Hotel restaurant. It's overpriced and we did not enjoy the food.

The Conway River View Cottage is a wee way from Cheviot, so I can only review the Conway River/Conway Flats area - it is absolutely lovely. A great place to escape the rat race :) As a writer, I enjoy places that inspire me - and this certainly did that. I could have lived there very comfortably.

Great accommodation.
Great accommodation. Excellent room - very clean and well organised. Attention to detail with little extra touches - small Easter eggs, biscotti, slippers etc.
Breakfast was lovely with home cooked muesli, stewed fruit and bread.
Lovely gardens and amazing views across the valley and to the mountains. A lovely spa pool in a position to admire the spectacular views.
