The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was easy to find on GPS. Room was good size with comfortable furniture. How many hotels have you been to and the bed is more comfortable than the furniture. Well Scenic Marlborough was not the case. Bathroom was a large accessible one and toiletries product were very nice.

Blenheim is such a beautiful town. So many places to visit and town is so accessible by foot. We visited the library which is magnificent and did amazing coffee. We also had dinner in town at a great restaurant called Franks! Bella Vista is only a strolls walk from the supermarket and town.

What a great spot for some R&R.
What a great spot for some R&R. Lots of things to do but the wineries are very special. Pick the good ones and you get a combination of great wine with a great story backing the winery. A little quite if you need to get breakfast before 8 am would be my only minor complaint.

Good place to transit after arriving from the ferry in Picton. Several places to eat as a good sized town. Ate in Bamboo Garden (5 minutes walk) as had been recommended to us by people on the ferry. Food was excellent.

We stayed 3 nights in Blenheim in February.
We stayed 3 nights in Blenheim in February. The city itself is not too big but cosy. There are some beautiful parks and gardens. Breathtaking mountains views. Runway cafe on the way to Blenheim airport was quite nice. Food was delicious. Most of the time we spent exploring nearby areas. A lot of good wineries around for degustation and lunch. We travelled to Picton ( 30 min by car). Had a cruise there. Plenty of cafes on the waterfront. Visited the impressive Omaka aviation heritage centre. "Muscles pot" restaurant in Havelock was nice. Would be great if we had at least one more day to visit more places in the Marlborough region.

Well done Blenheim and Marlborough!
We loved our stay at this centrally located boutique hotel. Our rooms were very clean, well laid out and so comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again when we return to Blenheim.
Most fully equipped room we’ve ever stayed in, it had more stuff then the Airbnb cottage we’d stayed in previously. The staff were super friendly, and all for a really really good price.
We were upgrade to the Chateau Marlborough because Spring was overbooked.
