We were greeted by Juliearne and Warren and shared a few drinks with them, and lots of laughs. We were upgraded to the "Modern Suite" which was amazing. It was beautifully decorated, very comfortable. We were then surprised with freshly made croissants for breakfast.

It is a great place if you like walking and at the same time want to relax.
The break fast was excellent with amazing views whilst you eat.
It was possibly to drive to either Picton or Havelock for restaurants as well as arranging boat trips for fishing or sight seeing.
We saw many dolphins on a trip to the bird sanctuary.Their is a local pub where you can have a meal and meet the locals.
The only disadvantage if you wanted fine dinning then you had to drive to Picton which took thirty minutes.

Warm welcome from owners, Tanya and Shayne.
Warm welcome from owners, Tanya and Shayne. Really informative on what activities are available in the area. Clean and well equipped accommodation right on the waterfront and on Queen Charlotte Track. Perfect accommodation if you prefer to be away from the crowds. Lots of things to do if you love the outdoors.

A place to get away from it all.
A place to get away from it all. Take your provisions as there is no shop, no restaurant, no pub, poor phone service and poor internet. Bliss!
You can jump off the jetty, take a boat trip, walk the QCT, paddle board, kayak and chill out. Enjoy your own company or that of friends and family. Re-connect with nature and yourself and disconnect from the stresses of everyday life back home.
Location is a must trip Anakiwa is beautiful and Ray was a great host showed us around the Lodge, we had a very nice room comfortable bed a amazing view of the valley off our little deck the room was clean and tidy great shower.
