Hotels near Sikha

I really did want to love this guesthouse. Set in the gorgeous little village of Narcheng, you are in the heart of a lovely little community in a very rural location. Bear in mind that you will have a significant walk on your hands to and from Tatopani, and going to the guest house is uphill. The exterior of the guest house and it's beautiful garden look lovely from the outside. The views of the mountain and the nearby waterfall are excellent.

Family run lodge that has been with the family for many decades. You see 3 generations present with all pitching in to make the place welcoming and pleasing experience. The setup with balcony view is stunning and you get amazing views over the valley as well as the mountains for morning and evening views. The staff are very attentive and constantly asking if all is fine. The food was great ( like home cooked and what they would eat themselves) , highly recommend taking breakfast on the balcony with the mountain view before you. ( They will accommodate if you are nice about it) The room is good size and provides adequate facilities considering you are in a mountain lodge you should manage expectations. In the village there is multiple lodges and this looked like a more modern setup. In the evening they sometimes setup a bonfire which was nice to take in the open air. The place also felt safe to leave room closed without lock. But likely depends on others staying there at the time.

Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. The hotel and room appeared generally clean, and as they did not have many guests when I visited, I was given a room with a double bed which was very large and comfortable.
