The house is nice, kitchen is big. It’s a good distance from the city Center for a weekend getaway. The view from the rooftop is quite nice and we were able to sleep 11 people very comfortably. The rating would have been much higher if not for the ridiculously intrusive on site staff. If management corrects this it will be a big improvement.

Everyone is cooperative and cheering except for the night staff who handled my check in at the first day. I don't say he was rude but he had different price rate than what I got on booking.com. But after few minutes of discussion, he agreed to give me the room at the price of what I booked at. So besides that everything was good.

Staying at Shivapuri Heights Cottage in Kathmandu was pretty cool. It’s tucked away near Shivapuri National Park, so it's super peaceful but still not too far from the city. The staff are super friendly and make you feel at home right from the start. The rooms are nice and cozy, with some local decor that gives them a more personal touch. The view is definitely the best part. Waking up to see the Kathmandu Valley and the mountains in the distance is something else. They've got this nice garden where you can chill with your morning coffee or just take a walk and relax. The food there was great, too. It’s a mix of local dishes and some international stuff, all made with fresh ingredients. Eating there feels like having a meal with family, but with an awesome view. If you’re into hiking or just want to explore the area, the cottage is in a great spot. The staff can point you in the right direction for some cool walks in the national park. Overall, Shivapuri Heights Cottage is a great place if you’re looking for a laid-back spot with nice views and good vibes.
