Bardia Jungle Cottage, hotel in Bardia

Bardia Jungle Cottage is located in Bardīa, just 300 metres from the Bardia National Park. Free WiFi access is available in this resort.

Location is immediately outside Bardia national park.....you cannot get any closer. Facilities are basic but more than adequate. Hot water showers are available along with very good local food after a long day's trekking. The guides organised by hotel are exceptional. The owner is such a nice guy and the staff cannot do enough to make sure you are happy. Such good value for money. It's my 3rd time returning to bardia jungle cottage and my 7yr old's first and we will definitely be back to see more tigers and stay here. The packed lunch is perfect whilst in jungle and so well organised.

Very comfortable wonderful lodge. It is an ‘institution’ in the safari sector of Nepal and deservedly so. The management (BC), staff and guides (Bhim in particular) are all incredible, nothing is too much trouble.

Mango Tree Lodge, hotel in Bardia

Set in Bhurkīā, Mango Tree Lodge features free bikes, garden, bar, and free WiFi. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service.

It’s a family run business and the owner Rajan (Former Wildlife Guide for Prince Harry and Hilary Clinton) and his brother in law Mahindra have given me the best possible experience in the jungle (both have over 30 years of experience)! Both are the loveliest/friendliest people you’ll ever meet! Rajan’s spoken english is excellent! I did two walking tours and one Jeep safari, both were one in a lifetime experiences. I always felt safe and properly guided. The rooms in the Lodge are beautiful and spacious. The shower has great pressure and was always hot! After a long day in the jungle the fireplace in the reception hall was already crackling and I got welcomed back with a hot tea or cold beer! All the meals are homemade by Rajan‘s wife and were always delicious! 10/10 stars, I highly recommend staying at Mango Tree Lodge!

Bardia Eco Friendly Homestay, hotel in Bardia

Set in Bhurkīā, Bardia Eco Friendly Homestay provides accommodation with seating area. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

Shardul and Ankita (and others as well) were very helpful and friendly. It is a good place to combine relax with jungle explorations: one day you explore and get impressions (and Shardul will definitely help you to see tigers and other animals), another day you just sit on a terrace relaxing and go for breakfast/lunch/dinner from time to time. Then you can repeat :-) The hosts will help you with everything you want.

I recently stayed at wildplanetecoRetreat and it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in the heart of bardia national Park, this hotel offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience nature at its finest. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the local wildlife and ecosystems. imagine waking up to the sounds of birdsong and catching glimpses of wildlife right from your room’s balcony! We were lucky enough to see tiger rhino and elephant which made the experience even more magical. The guided wildlife tours were a highlight, led by expert naturalists who truly cared about conservation and ensuring we had a respectful and immersive experience in the animals' natural habitat. The rooms were incredibly comfortable with a rustic charm, perfectly blending luxury and nature. The attention to detail was evident, with eco-friendly products and sustainable practices throughout the property, which added to the sense that we were in harmony with the environment. The dining was another standout feature. The hotel served locally sourced, fresh, and organic meals, catering wonderfully to a variety of dietary preferences. After a day of exploring, it was the perfect way to relax and recharge. Overall, wild planet eco Retreat is a must-visit for any nature lover. Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or a deeper connection with the natural world, this hotel offers it all. We left feeling rejuvenated and inspired by the beauty of the wildlife and the dedication of the staff to preserving this special place. Highly recommended
