This is a very unique resort! The surroundings are breathtaking and unforgettable. The owner and staff have worked and continue to work very hard to provide a fantastic experience. The cabins are basic but at the same time provide everything you need - to cook, relax , wash and take in the beautiful countryside. The cabins are clean and very well maintained; shower / toilet etc very clean and modern. Perfect in every way.
Big waterfalls within 5 minute walk are stunning. There is a lake at the venue to swim in but it’s extremely cold and we wasn’t brave enough!

From the outside the hotel looks quite dated, but the rooms are nicely renovated, with good and clean beds. The room itself was also very clean.
I must give my compliments to the person that designed the small badroom, how they fitted a really useable badroom in a little less than 3m2 is quite a thing, only the sink could have been a bit wider and deeper.
The breakfast had a really wide selection of items, including full English and a real coffee/espresso machine, not only the pot or thermos like unit that has almost always a bit to old stale coffee in it.
The Wi-Fi worked fine and the view out off my street side room was amazing at the river and the fjord in the distance, including a really beautiful sunset.
This full-service hotel is centrally located in Førde, in an area with stunning countryside, rich fishing waters, exciting glaciers and abundant cultural possibilities.

Truly beautiful valley with its national tourist route label...
Truly beautiful valley with its national tourist route label justly deserved. Either walking or even in the car the valley and its waterfalls and lakes in the river are wonderful. The waterfall trail is well marked and easy going following the river more or less.
The peace and tranquility come at the cost of arriving well supplied. There is only one shop near the bottom of the valley so bring what you need and what you might need!
