Beautifully located, with the mountains as a backdrop, and with a spectacular view down the valley and over the lake. Large room. There was a fridge and a kettle. Good parking.

The cottage has all the amenities one can wish for. It is spacious and the interior is very cosy with all the wood.

Lovely place in the heart of nature. Comfortable, clean cabin. Clean toilets and bathroom. Big parking space, We really enjoyed our stay in there.

Extremely hospitable, knowledgable and caring host. The location is absolutely stunning. Any time of the day and in any weather. Really comfortable property, beds and layout and lightly elevated above the surface of the road and fjord. If possible, we will happily return any time and highly recommend it to family, friends and anyone else.

W O W !!! Words simply cannot describe how fantastic our experience was! I will begin with Iris, the owner and the host. What a lovely lady she is. Warm, welcoming, considerate, caring, ready to share her knowledge about the immediate area as well as further afield. We felt properly at home and looked after from the moment we arrived. Iris makes your stay comfortable effortlessly. She is a lady of a house, the nicest possible, and emanates all the positive energy onto her guests. Iris is full of life and full of smile. Will engage if her guests prefer and will remain in the background if that is what they want. Now onto the property. The location near the fjord is absolutely exceptional. Despite few other properties/ camp sites being there this one is different. Located on an elevated plateau, accessible with a tiny effort, rewards its guests with views of an exceptional quality which no photos can do justice. One simply has to visit and take the experience with them. The mountains, painted by the sun rays, which surround the fjord made us want to go out and breathe, all that power of nature, in. Regrettably, we only stayed there for two nights so to return is our dream. As, it was and will be, of many visitors, I am sure.

Was doing a bike race and got delayed on the road. Check in stayed open until midnight, which was really 👍 👌. I was allowed to drag my bike caked in mud into the hotel reception and to be stored in a room on the ground floor. Well done. Not many other hotels would allow this.
