We were looking for a stopover between Stavanger and Bergen. Nice location along the fjord, we rented a fully equipped cabin, very clean and comfortable for 3 people. We rented a fishing rod and even managed to catch 3 macquerels for our dinner. Nice experience. To go back to Bergen we deviated from E39 and drove to Vage as an alternative, nice ride in the countryside.
Fitjar Fjordhotell in Fitjar has 3-star accommodation with a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Free WiFi is at guests' disposal throughout the property.

- The hotel was nearly empty the day we were in.
We booked the best room rather central room at the first floor (upstairs) with a balcony facing the view.
It was really superb.
It is to note that not all the rooms are alike and a proportion are on the road.
- For the dinner we had a buffet.
Exceptional. Sea and meat. Wide selection. Very good.
- The breakfeast buffet was also very good.
- The surrounding village and countryside.

The room was clean and the main bedroom area of the room modern and good. Breakfast buffet was nice and the breakfast area also bright and nicely furnished.
Free wifi and parking outside. And late (13:00) checkout on weekends is a nice bonus :)

The food at the restaurant was excellent. However, it could have been better if they add more choices.
The proximity of the hotel to the industrial and commercial areas is excellent.
a good place to stop on the way to Bergen from the south. The hotel serves mainly business people it has a nice spa and very basic gym. breakfast was very good and diverse
