Good communication, clean and comfortable.

The hotel provides free tickets for the Lindesnes lighthouse. The breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly, they even turned off the music on our request. You can have breakfast also outside looking at the marina. The parking on site is free.

Nice, quiet place for a quick stopover. The apartment is spacious and fully furnished. Unfortunately, "New" in this case really meant new/newly (very recently) renovated. The apartment gave the impression that a renovation is undergoing and/or not ready. Collection of the key is done via a key box so late arrival is possible. The stairs leading up t the apartment are a bit steep and narrow so be careful when carrying suitcases up or down. It would definitely give a better rating if the strong paint smell and general feeling that the place was not too well cleaned after renovation would not be there at the time of our stay (July 2024). Having said that, once this paint smell has dissipated it is definitely a good place to stay in relative clos proximity to Kristiansand ferry terminal and the south coast of Norway. The communication wit the host via the booking.com messenger was fast, friendly and efficient

Nice, quiet place with good value for money. A big playground, lots of other kids and free-roaming pot belly pigs should keep kids happy! The apartment we stayed in was spacious and super clean, the check in super simple. We arrived, I called the host, he came and told us which apartment is ours, where park to offload our luggage and where to park our car. The door was open and the key i the apartment, so I guess you can also arrive late at night if you let the host know. The apartment came with 6 beds. The bathroom has a shower and floor heater, the kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, a stove, a dishwasher and washing machine, a big fridge and a big freezer. Some apartments apparently have a freezer in the hallway. Upon booking the property responded via booking.com with a link to their own booking tool/information homepage which was helpful however, a bit generic and extra services such as boats etc. cannot be booked via their tool. We rented a boat for 3 days and the boat was in top condition, with fish finder/echolot and map/GPS. Life vests are provided (and mandatory to wear while on the boat) and the host will give you a mandatory instruction on how to operate the boat, general safety, where to fuel, and good spots to try to catch fish etc. I reserved the boat via booking.com messenger, but when I went for the hand over it seems that the message got lost somewhere in the communication trail. It was not an issue as I got the boat we needed (25hp motor, allowed to operate without boating license). The tank is full at hand over and the host will show you where you can refuel. Be mindful, this is the North Atlantic and the weather can be very unpredictable. We went out one day but the waves and the wind made us quickly turn back despite very good weather forecast. You can find relatively good information on the weather, wind and waves on windfinder.com or check with the host if it is safe to go out.

Location is out of the way but was perfect for where I was, the property is very big, more than enough for me on my own, host was very friendly and met me on arrival, everything you need to stay for a day or even longer
