The location was beautiful and peaceful. The lodge was very traditional and apart from small modifications I liked the way it had not been spoilt by modern additions.
Loved the terrace balcony overlooking the sea and excellent views of the aurora borealis.
Soufiane the host was very helpful and even gave us a knock when the northern lights appeared late at night. He have good information about the local area.

We had a cosy cabin with two bedrooms, each containing a small double bed. I was sick so spent most of the visit in my room. I loved the comfortable bed with the big cushion for sitting up and being able to look out onto birch trees on one side and the farmyard on the other. I also appreciated being able to have my breakfast and dinner carried to me on a tray (by the friend I was travelling with).
Located on the waterfront, this property is situated in Ersfjordbotn in the Troms Region. Tromsø city centre is 21 km away.

The location is outstanding; beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The apartment met all our needs - it was spacious, clean and had a fantastic view (we were in apartment no.3 which has a side window that looks down the fjord, as well as the main view across the harbour area). There are loads of amazing hikes and pretty beaches less than an hour's drive from the apartment (e.g. Sommarøy and Brosmetinden).

Anne Grete and Stainer are the best hosts we ever had ! they are so helpful, so friendly, so kind ! and their house is SO AMAZING !!!! you cannot believe your eyes when you arrive in the living room with the view on the sea !
And it is very confortable, with everything you need for daily life, like if you were in your home. The area is simply gorgeous : a small fisherman port surrounded by mountains and lakes easy to walk through ! one of the most astounding place in the world we have seen (and we travel a lot). Of course, you have to love remote places and enjoy being away from tourists, as they don't come that far in the wilderness !!! Thank a lot to our marvelous hosts ! we will come back !!!

it's a great place to visit. the views are stunning in Sommoroy but also , travelling south of the island. it's a great place in winter to spot the Northern lights. we saw them almost every night even after a stormy day. we would love to come back in Summer time!

Everything was wonderful!
Everything was wonderful! The driver who met us at the airport was kind and helpful. He showed us things along the way and told us about the area, what we could do. The cabin was clean and well kept. The view was spectacular. The food was delicious, a little pricey, but delicious. We had a wonderful time. It wasn't their fault that the weather didn't cooperate. The family walked to town. It was close enough to walk to and far enough away that we didn't get light pollution.
The view was really magnificent. Surrounding of the hotel was very nice. Kitchen was well equipped just fine. Complimentary tea/coffee. Very cozy feel.
