The location and view are superb. however the lack of running water (not advertised) in Norway (!!) makes the price outrageous in spite of the very pleasant location and superb view.

Room was a good size compared to most. Host was trying hard to please, but lack of good English was difficult. There was a personal touch. Quiet area but close to town. Parking right at the door.

I doubt you will find a nicer place to stay than here. The place is huge, very clean, modern and value for money. It's photos don't do it justice.
I've stayed at thousands of places but this is the first time I've taken the time to write a review.
Enesi holiday house is set in Hestenesøyra. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station.

The town does not have a lot to offer. But the surroundings are lovely. The fjord front is spoilt by supermarkets, bus park and lots of tarmac.
Lovely little cafe .......wonderful sandwiches. We biked uphill to a fabulous mountain lake. We were the only people there.......wonderful
Nice family run hotel with longer history. We only stayed for one night as we were driving from Bergen to Ålesund. Dinner and breakfast were good but not exceptional. We had a room with two single beds. The standard of the room was ok. At some stage, some renovations might be advisable.
The historical part including the dining rooms are very charming which is what you see on most marketing materials. The 'new' half of the hotel is another story, some standard rooms are quite recently painted, and have paint smell, if you mind book the Nordic rooms instead.
