This hotel is off the beaten path but only a few minutes from the Burgund Stave Church. It is an old farmhouse that was renovated into a hotel and is beautifully maintained. The staff were wonderful and the price was great for the room we received. The dinner option was exceptional with fish soup, venison (the most tender we've ever had), potatoes, vegetables, bread, and a delicious desert. Choices were plentiful for breakfast.

The Lindstrom Hotel embodies traditional values of hospitality and is heaven for lovers of architecture and design. There are many inviting spaces in the lobby, the restaurant, and the bar. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant. Do not miss the chocolate-almond-cream cake! Very well maintained accommodation, cost effective and comfortable for 4 adults in the Main Street Old town area. The property was accessed from the rear with accommodations on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the building. There were 2 bedroom areas, with one being a loft and a shared bathroom. The bathroom was very modern and clean. The common living area had seating area with refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes, sink to do your own cooking. The bathroom also had a washer, which we used, hanging laundry, which was dry the next morning before our departure. We walked to restaurant that was open and had great meal. Also easy walk to 2 grocery stores, where we purchased pastries for the following morning. The property had coffee in the room. The property owner provided directions in advance regarding location and free parking, as well as access. Very easy to follow.

This is a beautiful house, pictures do not do the justice. It is a fairly new construction, very modernistic and efficient with big windows and beautiful peaceful surroundings. It has a fully equipped kitchen,with all the appliences, even has all kinds of cleaning supplies. House has very good internet, TV, wonderful living room and 2 comfortable bedrooms.
We were greeted by the host Nina, she is amazing . During our stay she treated us nicely, we did not feel we are strangers. She was helpful and very easy to communicate with.

This was a nice apartment for a 2 night stay. It was on the route of our road trip, we got to visit the Borgund Stave Church nearby, and had two grocery stores in walking distance.
The apartment had enough space for our party of 3, had a fridge, stove top, and small oven for cooking, and two bedrooms.
