Nice hotel adjacent to a small water park with big pool and one slide. The hotel has a great indoor play area which the kids enjoyed.
near the hotel (15 minutes' drive) there is a nice small town with plenty of restaurants, but when we came (late August) most were closed for the season.
The breakfast was good but not exceptional.
Renovated sea facing cottage on the Eidanger fjord is a recently renovated vacation home in Porsgrunn where guests can make the most of the free bikes and garden.

Everything! The location and view were excellent. The accommodation was nicely decorated and very welcoming from first walking in the door and then looking out the open concept interior to the enclosed porch to the well equipped patio. Everything you need was supplied, including games for family time. A grill, use of a small boat and plenty of parking are part of the package. Certainly hope to return for a longer stay.
