We knew what kind of hotel room we have booked and we got what we expected.
I would say Sami City Hotel is convenient. The hotel does not have staff working on site. You access the building and your room via different codes that you get on the check-in day. We were driving and we just needed a place to spend the night, so for us this was easy and we can arrive at any time, no depend on reception times etc
The room was comfortable, clean enough (even though there was some dust in some places), renovated, warm, with private toilet and shower.
The common area was downstairs. We used the fridge and freezer and made breakfast there. The kitchen was small and had couple of tables. There was just another 2 guests in the common area, so it did not feel full. This area could have been a bit more cozy. The parking was clean of snow and we could access easily. Beds felt comfortable and even if it was 2 single beds, there was this metal part to connect them.
Situated 1 km from central Karasjok, this camping site offers cottages with a balcony and private kitchen facilities. Parking is free on site. The Karasjokka River is 400 metres away.

Amazing place just outside of City Center but so close! Nice walking trail even in winter. Nice cosy wooden hytta in a camping park where the owner lives so secure and helpful. Good if travelling with a dog. Top sauna!
Set in Karasjok, Engholm Husky Design Lodge offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes, a garden and a terrace.

Friendly supportive staff. The log cabin accommodation was warm, comfortable and beautifully unique in the attention to detail, artistically designed carved wood, stretched leather, fur chair and stone framed mirror. Husky ride was fun learning about their training from friendly staff. Highly recommended for a comfortable and unique experience.
This property punches above its weight - it’s a modest hotel with the most amazing staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the breakfast is amazing - so much variety and so much quality. The staff are charming: friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help out with problems. The amazing Sami restaurant Gammen attached to the hotel is a must try - built underground and with open fires to sit around why you try local treats such as reindeer stew with cloudberries.
You can reach the accomandation by car or when you come with the bus from the Scandic hotel bus station by feet. It is more outside but it’s great to relax a bit. We even saw a moose. The campsite looks nice and there are showers and a kitchen. You can also book the sauna or the hot tub for some extra cash. If there are northern lights the sauna or hot tub would be a perfect spot to see them.
We recommend staying at the SamiCity hotel. Very nice and responsive personnel. We received clear instructions from the hotel on how to enter our room since we arrived at the location outside the check-in hours. Easy to reach, with generous parking right in front of the hotel. Large and clean rooms, corresponding to the pictures in our reservation.
A pretty, modern, comfortable lodge in the middle of the forest. Lots of lovely huskies on the doorstep. A wonderful experience, certainly also for longer stays. Karasjok is only a few minutes away by car, so Engholm Lodge is well connected.
Nice breakfast. Situated in the Sami Capital and in the Sami cultural park of Karasjok. In the site there Is a typical and very suggestive Sami restaurant that unfortunately we didn't try.
