Hotel has a lot of history in Loen and is now in the 4th generation of management. It has a great location in Loen with an easy walk to the sky-lift, hiking and water sports. It was also a short drive to the glacier hike making it a great location. The hotel had a great breakfast buffet, very clean rooms, two pools and spa services. Dinner had two choices either in the main dining or on the patio for barbecue.
This hotel is situated next to the Stryneelva River, in the year-round glacier skiing destination of Stryn. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and free private parking.

A superb place to discover Norway, with all facilities in the house, a free access to the canoë below to enjoy the beautiful Hornindal lake and a nice barbecue patio. This house has a lot of charm, without direct neighborhood and is very peaceful. And the host is very sympathic. The perfect place to enjoy the beautiful nature of Norway all around (mountains, glaciers, lakes, waterfalls)
We booked a room facing the lake, which was a fantastic view, and had a little balcony. Room has an interesting art-deco decor, which gives a nice touch. Staff were very helpful with information on fjord tours in the area. Free parking too is good, either in front of the hotel or just across the road.
Good location. Tasty breakfast. Nice stuff. Room equipped to cook a coffee. Great lake view. Free parking place in front of the building. It is Spar supermarket near the hotel. Good WiFi in the room. Additional baby bed (cot) was provided for our small daughter (we asked in advance).
