Great cabin. Space for 6 ppl with everything you need (even a dishwasher!)
The 2 out of 6 beds are in the loft and you have to go up by the ladder and you can't stand up fully up there. It was no problem for us and actually fun for kids.
Linen and towels were provided which is not a norm for cabins in Norway, so that was great!
The view is great.
Location is also great, not too far of a drive to glaciers and hikes.

Great area for a weekend or just to break a long drive over the mountains. Will definitely go back. Lovely thoughtful details, chairs and a rug by the waterside, a rowing boat to borrow, a sauna for after your swim in the glacialmelt water.
Interesting hamlet with lots of buildings being restored.

Gosh, what an amazing setting, and the Hjelle Hotel is the perfect place to enjoy it. Communication was quick and informative, and all the staff so friendly. The room is compact - the beds comfy. Our room didn't have a TV, so the lovely table and bench seat outside the front door was ideal to take in views of the stunning glacial waters. The shower is fantastic..lots of pressure! We ate in the quaint restaurant for dinner (which was delicious) and breakfast (also yummy with lots of options).
It's not a bad place. It was fine for that money as for Norway prices. We slept 1 night in a clean, small 'house' with fine beds. There is common bathroom with hot water available for couple of minutes. It's enough though. Location is pretty nice. There're fjords all around and small city with shops few kilometers away. And the girl at reception was nice (from Poland) was nice to talk to
The cabin was well furnished with cooking utensils, bedding, lovely sitting area, two bedrooms, shower with strong spray. There was no breakfast delivered. The gentleman who we spoke with was very accommodating and had we known the facility would be so lovely, we would have cancelled other hotels and stayed there for an additional night or two.
