Very friendly town - lots to do and see locally, a short plane ride from Oslo and a bus station in town easily connecting you further afield. Friends went swimming and walking and recommended the museum. I also found a good range of pricing options across activities , dining etc so although overall Norway was not cheap it was cheaper than I expected and I holidayed within budget

Little city with many nice buildings and a beautiful church, but city planning is lacking, a very good playground for city planner to gentrificate the city center. Insead of plain and boring, it could have been so much more vibrant and colorful.
Scandic - You know what you get. Convenient location for customer meetings in Haugesund. Easy parking in the neighbourhood. Working distance to downtown Haugesund.
Very friendly staff. Early check-in was no problem at all. Very good breakfast served until late. Good location, but Haugesund is a small town after all.
