Very friendly town - lots to do and see locally, a short plane ride from Oslo and a bus station in town easily connecting you further afield. Friends went swimming and walking and recommended the museum. I also found a good range of pricing options across activities , dining etc so although overall Norway was not cheap it was cheaper than I expected and I holidayed within budget

The best breakfast you can get at the hotel. It exceeded all the expectations. We were disappointed with a room, but breakfast saved the day and we gonna absolute coming back!

Small hotel with friendly personel at the end of the pedestrian only area in Haugesund. The breakfast was good and I slept really well. The floor heater in the bathroom was great too. Really inexpensive.
