Our host was very nice, polite, funny man. He waited us on a bus stop and ride us with his car to the apartment, because we were with baby and it was snowing. Also, he drove us to bus stop in Hansnes. While there he took us to mini ski competition near lake :) gave us lot of information and fun facts about place.
House was extremely clean! So cozy and warm! I can say that that was our best stay so far. We are definitely coming back.
Located in Lenangsøyra, Lyngen ski- og fiskecamp has free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a private beach area, a shared lounge and a terrace.

Absolutely brilliant location - if you're looking to get away from the world and experience fjord, northern lights and generally northern Norway above polar circle at its best, it will be hard to beat this place. And we've been to Norway, including Tromso area, many times over the last ten years, so I hope we know what we're talking about ;-)
This hytte (cabin / chalet) has all the amenities you could wish for - all the kitchen utensils you'd expect, cozy bedrooms, warm and spacious bathroom, even boot room to dry off your clothes and shoes. All spotlessly clean. Hot water and heating faultless. Bed linen and towels were included which is great if you travel from abroad and have limited luggage - we usually had to pay extra for these on our many Norway trips in the past. And if you're familiar with camping sites in this beautiful country, I'm happy to report that no, you don't operate your hot shower using coins ;-)
I can't recommend highly enough using outdoor hot tub - well worth paying little extra to enjoy external hot tub jacuzzi - we were incredibly lucky to see a good 10 minutes show of northern lights in the sky while sitting inside hot bubbling water while it was freezing (you'll be very warm in the tub, don't worry!), a moment to cherish for ever.
As for the northern lights (if that's what you'd like to see), as we know from our experience over few Norway trips, you're pretty much able to see it from everywhere providing it's dark (night time), the sky is clear (no clouds) and that Aurora actually appears on the night. We saw it from the patio of our hytte and were able to take decent pictures. If you want to take a very professional pictures, you'd be better off making a short drive away from village lights - many spots on the way from Svensby ferry, 5-10 minutes drive.
Offering a garden, Aurora Dream offers accommodations in Svensby. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking, and free Wifi.

Beautiful and private location less than 15 minute drive away from Blåisvatnet trailhead. Away from crowds, and part of Norwegian village landscape. Aside the hiking we enjoyed the views to Lynden alps and sea drinking coffee in the terrace and taking a cooling swim in the sea. The apartment was spacious for its size and modernly renovated. We were positively surprised. Walk across the garden and road to beach allowed easy access for a swim in the sea. Host was friendly and hospitable. Our family had a great stay and will go again.
Featuring a garden, Mikkelvik Brygge features accommodations in Mikkelvika. There's a private entrance at the vacation home for the convenience of those who stay.

Everything about this place was wonderful. The chalet-style accommodations were cozy and charming, offering complete tranquility. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the chalet had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, making meal preparation easy and enjoyable.
Note: The hotel is quite remote, which is ideal for a retreat, but there are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby. It’s important to come prepared with groceries and essentials.
