The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice.
Decor is a bit dated and the shower wasn't great but overall it was worth the money

the hotel is on a hill, with a nice view. It's quite and stylish.
The price was as expected.
It's an old hotel back to '30s of the 19th century.
In the breakfast room, there are long, joined tables, barracks-style, so it depends on your tastes.

Lovely apartment, spacious, great for access to slopes. Lovely resort. TV, WiFi, sauna, helpful staff at the hotel for check in and check out.

Nice resort, perfect for families as it’s not too big or small. The ski runs had simple greens/blues for beginners and a couple short but fun more challenging reds and black runs for the more experienced.
Food and restaurants could use more work. Not many restaurants to choose from and pricey too (even for simple pizza and pasta dishes).

Good place to visit during summer with since it has this fantastic amusement park for kids called Lilleputthammer. In addition to that have heard their a good Moutain biking park as well which I have not tried. During winter this place is transformed into a Ski resort. A small cosy town worthy for a weekend visit across the year.

Take ski lessons at Hafjell Skiskole with fantastic instructors that teach you step by step. Rent a variety of ski, boots, helmet, etc. at Hafjell Skibua across the road for expert fitting and personal service! Nice atmosphere on the slopes, and good facilities with showers and lockers. Go cross-country skiing if you can, the nature is amazing! Ski-buss 25min from Lillehammer to Hafjell.

Lovely family ski area, very nice facilities for kids and the most lovely, friendly ski school instructors - something for all levels. All the facilities you would expect, food/drink selection wasn't amazing.
The upper part of the slopes are flat and safe, great for learners and you don't have to ski all the way down (the gondola takes people down).
Only downside was a poorly managed gondola queue. We were there on an extremely busy day, but still - just stop people and make a single file/take 8 people at a time through the gates. As it was it was dangerous for kids who got pushed and showed. Hope they take steps to fix this one downside.
Fabulous breakfast, one of the best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel (muesli, norvegian bread, fruits..).
Beautiful view from the hotel.
Large room very well equipped.
Possibility to take a shower after checking out if you go for a hike.
Strongly recommend this hotel for summer or winter activities.
+ Arrival to the hotel - even in February the road was very well prepared despite leading to the altitude of nearly 1000m
+ Easy parking
+ Good breakfast
+ Possible to put on skis directly at the hotel and go to the slopes or for a cross-country trip
