Amazing hotel in a gorgeous spot, we paid a little extra for a room with a fjord view and not sure we've ever stayed somewhere with a better view
Loved the pool and hot tub overlooking the fjords too.
My partner and I are both vegetarian which wouldn't have been catered for out of season but the wait and kitchen staff specifically put on options that we'd be able to eat, great place!

It's an older hotel but grand; and an amazing location. I had one of the rooms with a view and I couldn't believe how beautiful the view was. The lobby was such a nice place to sit and have a tea or drink in and watch the cars and buses go by the hairpin turns. Watching the sun go down on the fjord was spectacular. The walk down and back to the village gave you fabulous views of the hotel looking back on my way down, and getting closer on my way back up. It's like an old Victorian (but don't think it's that old) kind of hotel; with a formal dining room which had a delicious dinner.

Fantastic views of Geiranger, very warm and welcoming couple managing the property and providing plenty of local tips. Even offered to put some food together when we arrived late in the evening. Room and shared kitchen (fantastic view) had everything we needed.

It was a last-minute booking with late check-in, but nevertheless, everything was made ready for our arrival. The place was great and the price was very reasonable.
The hotel lives out of the “good days” 20 years ago.
The hotel lives out of the “good days” 20 years ago. Ventilator was making noise at 10.00 pm, switched off only after a request. It was not possible to open window more than 2 centimeters. Very spacious dining rooms and restaurant , but small rooms (at least the ones not facing the road.
