Staying at Hesla Farm was like traveling several hundred years back in time, only we were lucky enough to have a slightly more modern kitchen, heating system and bathroom! Fresh warm bread, jam, fruit and newly hatched eggs were served every morning- just remember to ask if the eggs are raw or boiled!! Warm and accommodating hosts. I admire their desire and ability to restore a part of Norwegian architectural history.

They have a shelve full of books and toys for the kids. Football table is is the apartment. Lots of fun to play 😀 Worth to stay on your road to/from Oslo.
