The staff was wonderul! And the place have such great view, more peaceful than around ferry ans only 15mins away from the ferry with awesome view on the way up the mountain to reach this place initially. Would rather stay here than around the ferry next time. Too bad we went too early to the ferry and miss the breakfast here at 7am, turnsout we can have breakfasy first then reach the ferry at about 8.30 to 9 is fine. Tho this is august 20-29 where the midnight sun is over.
Best part is theres free parking at our room!

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation, primarily due to its unbeatable location—just a stone’s throw away from the ferry stop, which made getting around super convenient. The full kitchen was a huge plus, allowing us to cook our own meals, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect rest after our long days of hiking.

For us, Tranoya is a magical place! We were greeted at the dock by Wenche, one of the two sisters who operate the island. We basically had the island to ourselves to hike, pet the sheep and explore the coastline. Tranoya definitely exudes a peaceful vibe. We stayed two night and had fantastic home cooked meal. We were lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis on our last night. This was a memorable stay that was the highlight of our trip to Norway.

House is perfect for a couple or a small family with children. The view on the fjord and surroundings is amazing. The region is incredible and less touristic than the very busy Lofoten islands. One of my friends forgot a bag and the owner was kind enough to contact us and bring it to its work place which was about one hour closer for us to come back and pick it up. Very appreciated. Kitchen is well equipped too. A very quiet and peaceful place with a wonderful view
